Burnaby, BC -
It had been just over seven years since July 2nd 2003 when Vancouver BC was awarded the bid to host the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Many of the local people embraced this opportunity with open arms and the chance to show the world what a spectacular city Vancouver is. As the days passed, and the weeks turned into hours, the anticipation grew and the only feelings that now fly through the air are pride!
Being in the heart of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter games is an exciting, and truly inspirational moment for us all. Having the opportunity to be a part of this historic and once in a life time opportunity was enough motivation to begin following the torch relay as it began its journey back in October. Now with only hours left until the games officially start, the torch is making its way back. Binary Stream Software is fortunate enough to be a part of this journey, with the torch travelling right outside our offices near Deer Lake Park in Burnaby.
On February 11, 2010 the Binary Stream team, gathered together in Deer Lake Park to be a part of history and show our support. With loud cheers of excitement abounding, Binary Stream Software welcomed the return of the torch to Vancouver. Soon the worlds Athletes will be in action. Their determination, dedication and achievements are an inspiration to us all. Through the successes, challenges and joy they will bring the world in the coming weeks, we can all find a story to relate to.
Binary Stream Welcomes the Athletes to the Games and the World to Vancouver! We are proud to have you in our city!
