President’s Message

First off, I want to thank all of our partners (VARs, ISVs, Microsoft) and our customers for making 2008 another successful year for Binary Stream. Even with the challenges of the economy, we have had an exceptional year and continue to offer innovative solutions that clients have clearly seen a need for and which have helped our partners win more deals. We are encouraged by your faith in our products and services and in the coming year we are geared to increase our effectiveness in addressing both vertical and general client needs within Microsoft Dynamics GP.

During these times it is important for any company to focus on internal operational efficiencies, to clean up workflows and improve efficiencies to remain cohesive and competitive. While our products can help do this for Microsoft Dynamics GP end-users, we also believe that this is something we have to do within our own operations. In the past year we have taken several steps to improve our own workflows, in efforts to serve our partners and customers better. With the hiring of a technical support manager, more QA staff and the implementation of the Partner Portal in 2008 we know from your feedback that we have been making it easier for you to get in touch with us and to address your needs. In 2009 we are continuing these efforts and building upon them. We want to hear from you on these and other developments and if you have feedback for us, please feel free contact me directly. We appreciate your comments.

Multi-Facility Processing Updates

Multi-Facility Processing in the past year has helped our customers streamline their inter-company processing and has helped our partners provide significant value and scalability to existing Microsoft Dynamics GP core functionality. By enabling users to centralize and consolidate multiple databases which serve different divisions or facilities, the Multi-Facility Processing product can significantly cut down on database maintenance costs, overall processing time and reporting time.

Recent new additions to the product have build upon this strong base to provide our current and future customers with new functionality. Driven directly from client feedback and requests, these updates speak directly to industry and client needs. Below is a summary of the most recent updates.

  • > Intercompany transactions are now supported within the SOP Module of GP
  • > Increased 1099 Facility Functionality has been added
  • > W3’s have been Facilitized
  • > W2’s have been Facilitized and now work with magnetic media

The Property Site Manager is our flagship real estate and site management solution and is the only solution that offers comprehensive lease management functionality directly within Microsoft Dynamics GP. With recent customers acquisitions in the telecom, retail, airport and port authority verticals, this product continues to see interest in a wide range of industry verticals. New functionality that has recently been added to this solution, includes an Expense Allocation module for organizations with a large number of expenses or Common Area Maintenance (CAM) Charges to manage by property or site.
