Account Executive
The ideal candidate for the Account Executive position will possess a strong desire to be part of hard working sales and marketing team that is dedicated to not just selling add-on software, but to recommend software solutions to close deals and foster relationships with partners. The Account Executive will be assigned to specific software products and will be responsible for managing and cultivating leads generated by marketing activities. To be successful in this challenging role, the Account Executive must possess the ability to learn and understand Microsoft Dynamics GP and to think on their feet when engaging in sales opportunities. A key area of importance is also the Account Manager's ability to manage the delicate relationship with reselling partners and end-user customers. Primary responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Binary Stream's add-on products and be able to recommend software solutions to clients based on the above
- Proactively establish relationships with reselling partners and Microsoft representatives through tele-partnering
- Effectively manage the sales cycle to close and maintain new accounts
- Demo software solutions and host Powerpoint webinars or seminars
- Conduct telemarketing/sales to acquire leads on top of regular marketing leads
- Participation in the development of press releases and other business communication documents including marketing literature, in particular compiling information on different software solutions offered in terms of features, benefits and functionality
- Analyze, develop and streamline sales processes
- Participate in the development and execution of marketing campaigns
- Participate in trade shows and conferences
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and prepare detailed proposals or quotes
- Produce regular sales pipeline reports to management
- Make product recommendations and work with development staff as needed
- Manage projects that arise from new accounts
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM software
- Engage in marketing research activities

Experience required:
- 1-3 years experience in sales and/or marketing role
- An accounting, business, marketing and/or IS (Information Systems) background
- Experience calling on all levels of users and reseller personnel from reseller consultants / sales people up to high-level executives, and decision makers
- Knowledge of ERP software, particularly Great Plains a tremendous asset
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office suite)
