Binary Stream is launching a partner portal this year for our reselling partners. To make our files, brochures, fact sheets, user documentation and case studies more accessible to our partners we are building a Partner Portal where you can easily search to find what you need in the version you need it. Binary Stream was noted in eWeek on March 13, 2008 for their role in Redtail Solutions’ Software as a Service offering which allows organizations to easily map transactions between suppliers and a retailers and synchronize data online. In helping Redtail by building the SaaS integration to Microsoft Dynamics GP to create a fluid and seamless transition between the online and offline portions of the entire ERP solution, Binary Stream opened Retail’s solution to the Microsoft Dynamics GP market. Investment Manager Offers Investment Firms and Brokers More

Binary Stream’s Investment Manager is the only Dexterity application for Microsoft Dynamics GP that helps organizations manage the flow of equity between brokers, fund owners, and investors. Recently this solution has undergone developments and a new release with new features and functionality will be coming soon. With tighter integration to AP and AR processes, enhanced capital call functionality that includes investor notification of investment opportunities, multi-currency capabilities, and integration to our Multi-Facility Processing product, the Investment Manager is growing to better serve your needs. Specifically, new functionality for brokerage firms has been added to support the needs of a broader audience within the investment vertical.

eMailer Manager Improves Contact Management

The eMailer Manager, one of our most popular products, has recently undergone an upgrade to add new functionality and features for our clients. The solution, which batch processes multiple emails and faxes potentially saving hours a day, now stores multiple email addresses directly into GP maintenance contact cards. Instead of only being able to automatically send emails to one default address or email address list you can now utilize “bill to” and “ship to” email fields to send documents to one or more of these contact lists. This new development gives you more control of your mailing lists and will streamline document deliveries that have to be designated to different individuals or groups for different types of documents.

In the most current issue of CRM magazine Rick Whiting takes a look at what makes a Microsoft ISV successful, and for this purpose he contacted Binary Stream. At Binary Stream we, like many other ISVs, consider our close relationship to Microsoft as one of our key tactics to success and this particularly was what Rick wanted to talk about. Keeping in touch with Microsoft and knowing where they are heading both vertically and within Microsoft Dynamics GP generally are not only elemental to us in our product development, but essential to our relevancy in the market. Property Site Manager Gets Work Orders

Due to popular demand, Binary Stream has developed basic work order functionality for the Property Site Manager solution, a leading ERP application enhancement for Microsoft Dynamics GP that targets organizations that manage real estate sites such as commercial offices and airport facilities. With various work order or field service modules available in the market for Microsoft Dynamics GP, Binary Stream filled a market void by developing a cost effective work order tracking and scheduling solution for organizations with basic needs. With the ability to create work orders and assign them to vendors or maintenance staff, this enhancement is just another sign of Binary Stream’s investment into the property and site management ERP application market and this new enhancement gives the Property Site Manager solution a broader target market.

Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager Receives Workflow Enhancements

Always listening to our customers, we have further enhanced our Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager, the leading serial and lot number entry add-on to Microsoft Dynamics GP. While manufacturers and distributors primarily focus on moving products from purchasing through to sales quickly, suppliers or vendors may not always supply a list of serial numbers with a shipment to aid in this process. Because of this Binary Stream has developed an enhancement to generate temporary serial or lot numbers during the receiving process to help users enter their items into Microsoft Dynamics GP without having to wait for the actual serial numbers. This efficiency enhancing feature is great for organizations that process tens of thousands of serial numbers at a time.

New Features and Functionality in the eMailer Manager

In response to customer demand, the eMailer Manager has recently been enhanced to add new features and functionality. As we continue to listen to our partners and customers, we've added the ability to email/fax payroll remittances (earnings statements) to employees, send posted/historical SOP documents, inquire on sent messages, and auto-attach up to 20 documents for every email. These new additions are part of our dynamic development process which continually builds and upgrades our solutions with the feedback we receive from our partners and customers.
As one of most popular products the eMailer Manager is also part of the StreamLine Solution Pack. This bundle of our most frequently purchased solutions gives GP customers discounts when purchasing two or more solutions from the pack.
Streamline Inventory Cycle Counts with the Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager

With Microsoft Dynamics GP only allowing users to update their stock counts line by line within the Stock Count Entry Window, stock counts can be an onerous and immensely time consuming task.
In efforts to alleviate this time constraint a recent enhancement to the Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager allows users to check bulk batches of serialized numbers against their current inventory information within Microsoft Dynamics GP. For batches of more than 10,000 serial numbers at a time, inventory readjustments can be greatly streamlined within the Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager. The solution aligns serialized items from physical inventory count imports to serial numbers currently within Great Plains and tags them as counted, new, or not found. From here items are then updated according to their status within Great Plains all at once in a quick and easy batch process. This new enhancement allows inventory counts to be completed in a much simpler, much faster process, contributing to direct time savings and improved data reliability.
