December 2, 2009

Our development team has been busy and one of their newest developments has been an update to our installation wizard. Now when installing products you can update many companies at the same time, instead of making the updates one company at a time. The new installation process allows you to quickly see the currently build version that all of your companies are on and select which companies are getting the newest update. By double checking that the build numbers match between work station and database sets, the installation engine also troubleshoots potential inconsistencies for you as well.

Currently the new installation wizard is on the chunk files for Multi-Facility Processing, Property Site Manager and Materials Management for Healthcare. These changes will be making their way into our other chunk files soon. For more information on this contact us.

Sales Document Merger Manager working for eCommerce Clients

May 28, 2009

For many clients who run ecommerce sites that link into Microsoft Dynamics GP, the number of repeat orders from the same client can be numerous. Whether the customer has forgotten an item or simply decided to buy more of the same thing, multiple orders coming in can create an unnecessary backlog in processing when these items make it to Dynamics GP for invoicing and shipping. The Sales Document Merger Manager streamlines this by simply allowing users to condense their SOP documents by a predefined set of criteria in efforts to reduce the number of documents being managed. This in turn saves time in picking and packing and can reduce mailing and management costs for invoices. Within the eCommerce realm, this solution addresses a common bottleneck and has saved our clients time and money in the past.

Streamline Inventory Cycle Counts with the Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager

October 1, 2007
With Microsoft Dynamics GP only allowing users to update their stock counts line by line within the Stock Count Entry Window, stock counts can be an onerous and immensely time consuming task.

In efforts to alleviate this time constraint a recent enhancement to the Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager allows users to check bulk batches of serialized numbers against their current inventory information within Microsoft Dynamics GP. For batches of more than 10,000 serial numbers at a time, inventory readjustments can be greatly streamlined within the Serial Lot Copy&Paste Manager. The solution aligns serialized items from physical inventory count imports to serial numbers currently within Great Plains and tags them as counted, new, or not found. From here items are then updated according to their status within Great Plains all at once in a quick and easy batch process. This new enhancement allows inventory counts to be completed in a much simpler, much faster process, contributing to direct time savings and improved data reliability.

For more information on this streamlining solution, contact us today.
